Belfast: Live reading Matthias Politycki

Matthias Politycki was born in 1955 in Karlsruhe, Germany and is one of the most successful and critically acclaimed literary authors writing in German. He sold over 200,000 copies and published over 20 novels and poetry collections. His work has also been translated in 13 countries and has been received with critical praise in Germany, England, and France.

Samarkand, Samarkand is Matthias’ latest and most critically acclaimed book, which took some 25 years in the writing. It is the story of one man’s quest to save the West from total destruction. This epic work is both a novel of adventure and of romance
